Wes Beitler Headed to IHSA State Finals

AURORA – The good news for Waubonsie Valley cross country was that they hosted Saturday’s IHSA boys and girls sectionals. The bad news was that Waubonsie Valley’s course is very difficult to run. Junior Wes Beitler was able to overcome that by finishing in the Top 20, and will head to the IHSA Finals.

Football Sinks Raiders

BOLINGBROOK – The Raiders had two NCAA Division I prospects and a Top 25 ranking going into Friday night’s game, but Waubonsie Valley had an offensive line that sprung three Warriors for a combined five touchdowns en route to a 38-21 win over Bolingbrook in the first round of the IHSA Playoffs.
