New Coach, New Conference for 2024 Football

AURORA – It’s a new look for 2024 Waubonsie Valley football in a new conference with a new head coach.

Head coach Adam Pucylowski will lead Waubonsie Valley in the newly formed Southwest Valley Conference. The conference’s Green division consists of five teams, including Waubonsie, Bradley-Bourbonnais, DeKalb, Lincoln-Way Central and Stagg.

There are no rivalry games against familiar traditional opponents like Naperville Central, who is in the Red division, and Neuqua Valley and Naperville North, who reside in the Blue division.

Waubonsie Valley will host Plainfield East, Lockport, DeKalb and Lincoln-Way Central.

Two road games require the Warriors travel at least 50 miles one-way to Bradley-Bourbonnais (55 miles) and Normal Community (104 miles). There are two much shorter trips at Oswego East (4 miles) and Metea Valley (4 miles).

All home games are a 7:00 p.m. kickoff from Dick Kerner Stadium in Aurora and will be video-streamed live on YouTube via WVTV. For more information on Waubonsie Valley’s schedule, visit WVHS Athletics.
