AURORA – Waubonsie Valley girls golf won the Aurora City Invite on Wednesday at Phillips Park Golf Course in Aurora.
The Warriors finished with a 370, three strokes ahead of second-place Rosary. Kelly Cong scored an 85. Lilly Riley tallied an 89. Grace Angelides carded a 93. Priyali Bandla scored a 103. Ayana Patel and Aubreye Hyatt followed with a 104 and 115, respectively.
It was the fifth straight year that the Warriors were champions at this event. Waubonsie heads back to DuPage Valley Conference play on Thursday when they take on Metea Valley at Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora. Tee time is 3:30 p.m.
