Big Friday on Campus as Waubonsie Hosts Important Baseball, Soccer, Tennis Matchups

AURORA – Waubonsie Valley’s athletic campus will be busy Friday night with some big DuPage Valley Conference matchups.

Boys tennis hosts the Naper-Valley Invite, a two-day event, at 3:00 p.m. at the WV Tennis Courts.

On the pitch, it will be girls soccer as they host Metea Valley for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff. Goalie Lauren Bornhoff has two shutouts in conference play, and Taylor Ahmadian leads the team with ten goals and six assists. The Warriors beat Neuqua, 4-0, on Tuesday night.

Baseball looks to sweep Neuqua Valley in the last game of a three-game series. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m. at WV Baseball Field. Owen Roberts will get the start on the bump for the Warriors, who have been streaking. Waubonsie has won four in a row and ten of their last eleven games.
