Baseball Takes Game Two Against Wildcats

NAPERVILLE – Hiroshy Wong homered and drove in four runs as the Warriors defeated Neuqua Valley for the second straight time, 7-4, on Tuesday afternoon at Neuqua Valley High School.

Wong’s homer tied the game at three in the fifth, then the Warriors scored four more in the sixth to take the lead for good.

Wong went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI. Ryan Gustaitis and Owen Roberts each went 1-for-3 with two runs, and Josh Hung went 1-for-4.

Ryan Morton pitched six innings, allowing no earned runs with five strikeouts.

The Warriors have now won four in a row and 10 of their last 11. They improved to 15-8. Waubonsie goes for the sweep on Thursday against Neuqua for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch at WV Baseball Field.
