Waubonsie Recognizes 23 Athletes on Signing Day

AURORA – Athletic director Chris Neibch recognized 23 Waubonsie Valley student-athletes on Wednesday in the school’s auditorium as part of the National Signing Day.

Waubonsie athletes, who will play a sport at the post-secondary level, signed a letter of intent. Students included Tanner Atkins and Ben Ford (baseball), Tre Blissett, Matt Sessom, Elijah Whitaker, Demayiah Gaines and Hannah Laub (basketball), Bryce Provis and Tyler Threat (football), Salil Khanduja and Abreye Hyatt (golf), Sofia Zeiml (lacrosse), Zoe Evans (soccer), Keian Lam and Luke Martens (swimming), Austin McInturff, Colin Patinka, Zach Self and Brianna Pelligrini (cross country and track and field), Sam Miserendino (volleyball), PJ Bartzen and Cameron Censullo (water polo) and Ethan Wojtowich (wrestling).
