AURORA – The Warriors’ season has been riddled with injuries, but Friday night, they overcame that with a 36-34 victory over Metea Valley at Waubonsie Valley’s Main Gym. The Warriors also celebrated their seniors.
Anthony Alfaro, Garrett St. Clair, Matt Carmody, Antonio Torres and Justin Galler all took home wins, along with Charlie Millington, who won the last match of the night to lead the Warriors to the team victory.
Waubonsie hosts Naperville Central on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. start.
