NAPERVILLE – Hundreds gathered at Rotary Hill in Naperville on Monday night to show support for in-person learning at Naperville schools.

Organized by Ann Marie Tracy and Jacklyn Anna Cook, the “Rally to Open Naperville Schools NOW” Facebook page had over 600 people interested in the event. The page says, “Our children deserve a quality, in person education. It’s our responsibility as parents to advocate for our kids!”

The page states that the rally was intended to let Naperville board members “know that e-learning isn’t good enough for our kids.”

While the event was meant for Naperville Community Unit School Disctrict 203 schools, parents and students of Indian Prairie School District 204 were also encouraged to attend.

E-learning has been in place since the beginning of the school year in September.
