NAPERVILLE – It was the young guns that led the way in Monday’s Waubonsie Valley girls golf 180-193 win over Metea Valley at Springbrook Golf Course in Naperville.
Sophomore Lilly Riley topped all golfers with a 5-over-41. Riley shot par on the fourth hole, then birdied on number six.
Freshman Kelly Cong carded a 45. Sophomore Ayana Patel and senior Grace Angelides each shot a 47.
The Warriors are off for a week before hosting Neuqua Valley on Monday at Springbrook Golf Course.
