AURORA – Waubonsie Valley boys golf won the Metea Valley Invite on Monday at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora. The Warriors won the six-team tournament by 10 strokes over second-place Neuqua Valley.
Salil Khanduja lead all golfers with a 1-under-71. Khanduja birdied three holes on the front nine and finished with five birdies overall. Arjun Iyengar finished 6th with a 3-over-75. Avi Khanduja tied for 7th with a 6-over-78, and Adam Torreon tied for 11th with an 8-over-80.
The Warriors travel to Eaglebrook Country Club on Thursday for a 4:00 p.m. start.
