AURORA – The Warriors Hockey Club defeated Naperville North, 4-3, in the championship of the Carillon Cup on Tuesday night.
The Warriors came out of the locker room unstoppable, scoring the game’s first four goals. Junior Owen Cope opened the scoring in the first period, followed by goals from sophomore Evan Ziegler and senior Ian Altekrus. The Warriors continued in the second period with a goal from senior Devin Jaltuch.
Naperville North fired back with three straight goals, but the Warriors held on for the win.
The Warriors have two road games this weekend before returning home against Glenbard on December 3.
