NAPERVILLE – Freshman Mia Bertolini lead the way for Waubonsie Valley on Saturday at Naperville North as the Warriors qualified as a team for the IHSA Sectionals. The team Warriors finished 5th with a score of 155.
Bertolini finished 5th individually with an 18:50.50. Junior Lily Baibak finished 15th in 19:29.60, and sophomore Katherine Heap finished 29th in 20:10.90. Junior Katie Byers (52nd), senior Brianna Pelligrini (54th), freshman Brynn Vine (58th), and senior Greta Salmon (63rd) also qualified for the Warriors.
Hinsdale Central High School will host sectionals on Saturday morning at Katherine Legge Memorial Park in Hinsdale.
