ELMHURST – Waubonsie Valley girls basketball won their second straight game at the York Thanksgiving Tournament, 66-42, over Marist on Tuesday night.
Sophomore Danyella Mporokoso score 29 points with three assists and three steals. Sophomore Arie Garcia tallied 13 points with eight rebounds and five assists. Junior Lily Newton added ten points, five rebounds and six assists.
The Warriors improved to 2-0 on the season and face Glenbrook South on Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
