AURORA – Waubonsie Valley girls golf finished third at the DuPage Valley Conference tournament at Phillips Park Golf Course in Aurora on Tuesday.
Freshman Kelly Cong led the Warriors with a sixth-place finish, shooting a 12-over-84. Senior Grace Angelides followed up with a 13-over-85, good enough for 8th-place.
The Warriors play in the Pediatric Cancer Awareness Invite on Wednesday at Springbrook, then return for the IHSA Regionals at Fox Bend in Oswego on October 7.
