PLAINFIELD – Waubonsie Valley girls basketball opened the 2021-2022 season with a convincing 79-30 win over Plainfield Central on Tuesday night.
Sophomore Hannah Laub lead the Warriors with 22 points and four steals. Junior Taylor Curry followed with 15 points and four steals, and senior Amari Banks pitched in 13 points with four assists.
The Warriors host Oswego on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. as part of the 4-game WarHawk Tournament. They also host Crete-Monee on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
