PLAINFIELD – Waubonsie Valley boys golf finished second at the IHSA Regionals on Wednesday afternoon at Naperbrook Golf Club in Plainfield.
Senior Salil Khanduja won his fourth straight individual regional title, shooting a 4-under-68. Khanduja birdied six holes, including the final two to edge Benet Academy’s Charles Davenport by one stroke.
Senior Chris Wagner finished fourth with a 2-over-74, who birdied the 3rd and 11th holes. Sophomore Adam Torreon finished 9th with a 4-over-76, and senior Arjun Iyengar finished 11th with a 5-over-77. Freshman Aanish Kamdar also finished in the top 20 with a 7-over-79.
The Warriors will compete at IHSA Sectionals on Monday, October 2 at Whitetail Ridge Golf Course in Yorkville.
