AURORA – The Waubonsie Valley boys and girls basketball teams are a combined 37-2 this season, and both will be showcased on Friday night for a rare DuPage Valley Conference doubleheader against Naperville Central in the school’s main gym.
Boys basketball is undefeated at 18-0 and is ranked in the top ten in Illinois. They currently own the longest winning streak in the program’s history, surpassing the 17-game winning streak from the 2001-2002 team.
Girls basketball is one game away from a 20-win season at 19-2. It would be the program’s 12th 20-win season and second under head coach Brett Love.
