LOMBARD – Waubonsie Valley girls soccer opened its 2025 campaign with a 4-0 win over Glenbard East on Monday night.
Senior Thanya Castelan open the game with two goals. Senior Katie Chapman scored two goals with an assist. Junior McKinley Ladd and freshman Isabel Contreras added assists.
Sophomores Olivia Soderquist and Charlie Van der watt were credited with the shutout in goal.
The Warriors open at home on Thursday against Wheaton Warrenville South for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
