Zeiml Breaks Lacrosse Career Scoring Record

AURORA – Senior Sofia Zeiml broke the Valley’s career scoring in Wednesday’s 18-6 win over Naperville Central at Metea Valley High School.

Zeiml led the way, scoring seven goals. One of those was her 187th career goal, which broke the program’s career scoring record.

Junior Colleen Clinton scored three goals and an assist. Sophomore Sydney Shield scored two goals. Junior Sophia Morgan score one goal with three assists. Junior Kelly Clish, senior Bridget Seago, junior Payton Zwirek and senior Ce-Ce Oakes each added a goal. Senior goalie Bella Kerr saved nine shots for the win.

Valley travels to Glenbrook South on Friday for a 6:15 p.m. start.
