A World War II soldier has gone missing. His wife, whom he married after a brief, two-week courtship, is about to have their baby. The soldier’s ultra-rich parents don’t approve of the atmosphere in which they think their grandchild and heir will be raised and proceed to scheme a way to take the child away.
