Waubonsie Valley girls soccer was ready to start their 2022 campaign and began with two straight shutouts at West Chicago and Wheaton-Warrenville South this week. on with a 3-0 win over West Chicago on Monday night.
On Monday, the Warriors and Wildcats both went scoreless in the first half before Eleanor Oster scored a goal in the second half.
On Wednesday, Waubonsie and Wheaton-Warrenville South ended in a scoreless tie. It was the second straight shutout for goalkeeper Isabel Langenkamp.
The Warriors close out their three-game road trip at Freeport on Friday, before hosting Batavia on Monday night.
