AURORA – After a surprising DuPage Valley Conference loss to Naperville North on Friday, Waubonsie Valley was looking to get back on the winning track. The Warriors started strong in their 62-55 win over Oswego on Tuesday night.
The Warriors took a 26-6 lead after the first quarter, with senior Marcus Skeete scored 27 points in the first half. Oswego closed the gap in the second half, but Waubonsie held on for its 22nd win of the year.
Skeete finished with 35 points and 13 rebounds. Junior Ben Schwieger scored 12 points.
The Warriors head back to DVC play on Friday when they host Naperville Central for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
