BLOOMINGTON – On Friday, the Illinois High School Association released football schedules for 2022. Waubonsie Valley football will host four games in its 9-game regular season.
The season opens on the road against Oswego East on August 26. The Warriors open at home on September 2, hosting St. Charles East, followed by a home matchup against O’Fallon on September 9. Waubonsie will then travel to Naperville Central on September 16 and Naperville Central on September 23. The Warriors close the month by hosting DeKalb on September 30.
The District 204 rivalry between Warriors and the Wildcats will be renewed on October 7 at Neuqua Valley High School. Waubonsie closes its home schedule against Naperville North on October 14, before traveling to DeKalb for a rematch with the Barbs on October 21.
