D204 Online Summer School 2021

Summer school can be a great opportunity for students to take additional courses, explore new areas or create flexibility in their school year schedule. Students can also use summer school to recover credit and catch up with graduation requirements. Current 8th grade students are not eligible to take summer school courses.

District 204 Online (online courses through D204) http://www.ipsd.org/Subpage.aspx/SummerOnlineLearning  Registration opens on February 8th. Please visit the link above for more information on course offerings, FAQs and registration links. This is a separate registration from the 2021-22 school year course selection process.

Schedule and Fees

  • Session 1 – June 10th – July 2nd
  • Session 2 – July 8th – July 30th
  • Cost per session is $185

In addition to D204 Online Courses, several other area providers offer summer school experiences including: College of Dupage, Waubonsee Community College and Illinois Virtual School. These organizations will publish information to their websites when their summer plans are finalized. Please discuss all summer school decisions with your Waubonsie Valley school counselor prior to enrolling as summer school may impact a student’s 2021-22 course schedule. The student’s counselor must pre-approve all outside coursework using the pre-approval form (Link to Pre-Approval Form Below). Any coursework not pre-approved will not be placed on the D204 transcript. If a course is offered through D204 Online, that same course can not be approved through another online program.
