AURORA – The Amateur Hockey Association Illinois released its brackets for the Blackhawk Cup State Tournament for the combined high school division on Wednesday. Warrior hockey will enter the tournament as a 2-seed and will face either District 155 or Deerfield in the round of 16.
PREP hockey (Prospect, Rolling Meadows and Elk Grove) is the top overall seed, Main is the 3-seed, and Wheaton West is the 4-seed.
The Warriors open play on Sunday, February 27 at 2:40 p.m. The Blackhawk Cup championship is on Sunday, March 13.
