NAPERVILLE – Waubonsie Valley baseball score four runs in both the first and fourth innings on Monday afternoon, as they defeated Naperville Central 8-2.
The Warriors totaled 11 hits. Shane Torres and Josh Hung went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Seth Nielson went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Connor Beren, Owen Roberts, Hiroshy Wong, Ryan Lucas and Nate Cerilli each added a hit.
On the mound, Seth Gilliland picked up the win going six innings, allowing one earned run and striking out six.
Waubonsie hosts Naperville Central on Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch.
