AURORA – Nick Lambert pitched a complete game, allowing two runs and striking out seven, as Waubonsie Valley defeated Neuqua Valley 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon at WV Baseball Field.
The Warriors jumped out to a 7-0 lead and never looked back. Hiroshy Wong went 2-for-4 with one RBI and two runs. Connor Beren went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Owen Roberts and Josh Hung each added a hit and an RBI. Shane Torres, Noah Pilon, Ryan Lucas and Chris Leigh also added a hit.
Waubonsie and Neuqua close out the series on Thursday in Naperville for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch.
