Waubonsie Hosts Virtual Open House for Class of 2025

AURORA – For some students, it’s already time to start thinking about the 2021-2022 school year, and Waubonsie Valley High School is preparing incoming freshmen with a virtual Open House.

The event will begin online on January 13 at 7:00 p.m. with a welcome message from Waubonsie Valley principal Jason Stipp. He will then be followed by Director of Guidance Ryan VanKampen, who will speak about course registration and selection.

From there, students and parents will be free to choose what areas they would like to explore. A web site will offer informational videos on English, math, science, social studies, physical education, world languages, art, music, family and consumer sciences, business, technology and engineering education.

Athletic director Chris Neibch will present on choices for fall, winter and spring athletics, and assistant principal Jason Schmidtgall will present on clubs and activities that are available to students.
