AURORA – Waubonsie Valley High School celebrated its Class of 2022 on Wednesday night with the annual Green and Gold Awards in the school’s auditorium.

The night was broken down into Academic Honors, Memorial Scholarships, Warrior and Community Scholarships and Departmental Awards.
Thirty-four students were recognized as Summa Cum Laude, and 12 students were recognized as National Merit Finalists. Thirteen memorial scholarships and 22 Warrior and community scholarships were awarded. Fifty-eight senior awards were handed out in 12 different departments. Twelve students received the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy. The Principal’s Award, Athletes of the Year and House Awards were also presented.
