AURORA – Waubonsie Valley football is back on the web for the 2024 season, and WVTV will be there to provide live video broadcast streams. Four home games will be broadcast from Dick Kerner Stadium in Aurora, as the Warriors’ schedule includes four Southwest Valley Conference opponents.
The Warriors open the home schedule with a non-conference matchup against Plainfield East on September 6. Waubonsie will then host Lockport on September 20, before two back-to-back home games (October 11 and 18) to close out their home schedule. All games are a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
WVTV broadcasts are solely produced by a student crew on a volunteer basis. Since 2012, WVTV has produced live video stream productions of Waubonsie Valley athletics, music, theater and other school events.
All games are streamed live and available on demand on WVTV’s YouTube channel at watchwvtv.com. There is no charge to watch the games and there is no subscription required. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for all broadcasts. For more information, e-mail wvtv@ipsd.org or call 630-375-3300 and ask for WVTV.
