
ROLLING MEADOWS – Joe Pijanowski scored two goals in the second period, as the Warriors Hockey Club shutout LZMW Yeti, 6-0, at West Meadows Ice Arena on Monday night.
The Warriors scored three goals in the first from Michael Chenier, Kyle Van Rossum and Alexander Wohlfahrt.
In the second period, Pijanowski scored a power play goal at 13:44 and then again with 1:07 left in the period.
Griffin Bathje scored a goal in the third period to round out the scoring for the Warriors.
Sean Devalk earned the shutout stopping 18 shots on goal.
The Warriors advance to the Final Four of the Blackhawk Cup against Chicago North on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows.
