NAPERVILLE – It didn’t take Waubonsie boys basketball long to forget about their loss to DeKalb on Tuesday night. Moments after tip-off, the Warriors jumped out to a first quarter 23-3 lead en route to a 70-28 win over Neuqua Valley on Friday night at Neuqua Valley High School.
Carter Langendorf was on fire in the first quarter, including two three-pointers, as he finished with 13 points.
Adri Malushi returned from injury to bury four three-pointers and ended the night with 12 points.
Isaiah Smith had 11 points. Ben Schwieger and Tyler Helbing each tallied 7 points.
The Warriors improved to 4-2 on the year and 2-1 in the DuPage Valley Conference.
