AURORA – The Warriors offense was on fire on Monday afternoon as they tallied 15 hits en route to a 13-12 win over DeKalb at WV Softball Field.

The Warriors scored five runs in the first inning and four runs in the second inning to jump out to an 11-4 lead over the Barbs.
Grace Riggs and Aislee Morgan each went 3-for-5 with 2 RBI. Dezirae Kelly went 2-for-5 with one RBI. Sam Wiertelak went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI. Alyssa Tukker went 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI, and Addison Powell went 2-for-3 with 2 runs. Lily Elsea went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Molly Quinn pitched an inning and two-thirds to pick up the win in relief.
The Warriors travel to Wheaton North on Tuesday to face the Falcons for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch.
