AURORA – Molly Quinn pitched seven innings as she lead the Warriors to a 2-1 win over Metea Valley on Thursday afternoon at WV Softball Field.
Quinn allowed no earned runs and struck out seven en route to the win. Quinn didn’t allow a hit for the first four innings.
Offensively, Dezirae Kelly went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Aislee Morgan went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Grace Riggs and Sam Wiertelak each added a hit.
The win snapped an 8-game losing streak for Waubonsie. The Warriors travel to Bartlett on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. start.
