AURORA – Owen Roberts allowed no runs and one hit over seven innings as the Warriors defeated DeKalb 1-0 on Thursday afternoon at WV Baseball Field.
Roberts threw struck out eight and walked one with 71 pitches.
Hiroshy Wong went 2-for-3. Ryan Lucas went 1-for-3 with one run. Roberts and Nate Cerilli went 1-for-2.
The Warriors snapped their three-game losing streak. Waubonsie hosts Elk Grove on Saturday for a 10:00 a.m. first pitch. They return to DuPage Valley Conference play on Monday with the first of a three-game series against rival Neuqua Valley.
