Waubonsie Campus Parking Permit Applications To Include Review of Student Attendance

AURORA – Campus parking permit applications for the 2025-2026 school year at Waubonsie Valley High School will be available at the end of July 2025.

The school is anticipating that parking permits will sell out quickly for the 2025-2026 school year, as they did for the 2024-2025 school year. Because campus parking is limited, permits will only be available to seniors (Class of 2026) and juniors (Class of 2027).

However, Waubonsie administration is adding something new to the application process. Parking permit applications will be subject to a review of student attendance, specifically focusing on 4th quarter data from the 2024-2025 school year. This will include absences, tardies, and late check-ins.

Last year, students needed scans or pictures of the following documents available before they began the application:

  • Valid driver’s license for student.
  • Valid and up-to-date insurance coverage (for vehicle to be parked on campus).
  • Completed Consent Form signed by student driver(s) and parent/guardian.

More information, including eligibility criteria and application instructions, will be released closer toward the end of July.
