AURORA – Waubonsie Valley fine arts presents Footloose The Musical May 1st through the 3rd at the WV Auditorium.
Starring seniors Arpan Dhar (as Ren McCormack) and Chloe Roxas (as Ariel Moore), Footloose the Musical is a stage adaptation of the 1984 movie of the same name, featuring the film’s iconic soundtrack and new songs. The story follows Ren, a teenager from Chicago, who moves to a small town where dancing is banned. He challenges the town’s restrictions, leading to conflict and ultimately a celebration of youth and freedom.
Shows run Thursday, May 1 through Saturday, May 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the WV Auditorium. Tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. For tickets, visit Go Fan.
