AURORA – The Illinois High School Association released it’s seedings for the postseason tournament, and Waubonsie Valley boys basketball is seeded second in the Lisle Sectional.
The Warriors are currently 25-1 overall and 7-0 in the DuPage Valley Conference with five games remaining in the regular season. Waubonsie will face Naperville North, Warren, Kankakee, Naperville Central and DeKalb to close out their schedule.
Bolingbrook received the sectional’s top seed with a 25-4 record and a 12-0 record in the Southwest Prairie Conference. Benet Academy and Downers Grove North rounded out the top 4 seeds.
The IHSA will release brackets on Friday afternoon. Waubonsie is hosting the regional semifinals (February 26) and championship (February 28). All three games will be available on YouTube and WVTV.
