AURORA, IL – Last week, Waubonsie Valley had its annual holiday music concert. Prism showcased the talents of various vocal and instrumental ensembles. The concert has been a staple of the season for the community for years. It takes over a month to prepare for the concert, with different ensembles practicing separately.
“We describe Prism as our gift to the community,” said Waubonsie Fine Arts department chair Mark Duker. “We are really fortunate to be at a school and in a school district that is very supported by our administration. Certainly, students and parents are very interested in having a top notch fine arts program.”

“It’s an opportunity for our fabulous musicians to come together a seamless collage-style concert to the audience,” said orchestra director Daryl Silberman.
