AURORA – Senior Katherine Heap and junior Mia Bertolini finished in the Top 30 at the IHSA Regionals on Saturday at Waubonsie Valley High School. As a result, the two will advance to sectionals next weekend.
Heap finished 7th with a time of 18:46.57, and Bertolini finished 27th with a time of 19:28.81. As a team, the Warriors placed 8th with three runners finishing in the Top 50.
