Career exploration is a valued experience for all students at Waubonsie Valley. Early exploration of a variety of career paths can help students become informed of their post-secondary options and have an influence on the courses they take while in high school. Earlier this year, students had the opportunity to attend a career fair held in the field house. As a follow up, students are encouraged to attend a series of career panel presentations next week. Freshman students will be required to attend a panel presentation each day as part of their advisory program. Upperclassman are invited to attend panel presentations during the second half of each lunch period. This is a valuable time to make connections with professionals in a career field of interest or learn more on a specific career cluster.
Below is a schedule for the Career Connections Panels taking place the week of December 4th. Freshman are to report to the rooms they registered for on Friday during advisory. If you did not register, please report to one of the rooms below to check in. Freshmen will receive a passport upon entry to the room and that will serve as your attendance for the day.
Freshmen who were absent from Advisory on Friday, December 1st should register for a panel using this Google Survey
