NAPERVILLE – Waubonsie Valley boys golf finished 2nd overall at the IHSA Regionals at Naperbrook Golf Course in Plainfield on Wednesday. The Warriors scored 290, finishing six strokes behind Benet Academy.
Senior Adam Torreon and junior Aanish Kamdar finished tied for 6th with an even-72. Junior Avi Khanduja and sophomore Neil Patel finished tied for 9th with a 1-over-73, and freshman Arnav Nanda placed 21st with a 6-over-78.
Waubonsie Valley will travel to Moline on Monday for the IHSA Sectionals at Short Hills Country Club.
