AURORA – Indian Prairie School District 204 appointed Natasha Grover to fill a vacant school board seat at Monday night’s meeting.

Grover was previously appointed to the board in 2018 and was then elected to a four-year term in 2019. Grover was also involved in the hiring of current superintendent Dr. Adrian Talley.
IPSD 204 board president Laurie Donahue released a statement on Monday.
“With the superintendent search underway, the Board of Education faced the important task of filling the seat vacated by Supna Jain following her appointment to the Naperville City Council. The Board carefully considered its options and consulted with the district’s legal counsel to determine the best path forward. While this was a difficult decision, the Board believes our approach will allow us to move ahead seamlessly with the superintendent search process.”
“With the superintendent search now in progress,” said Donahue, “the Board felt it was important to appoint someone who could step into the role and contribute immediately to this critical work. Ms. Grover will serve until the April 2027 election.”
