
WHEATON – Waubonsie Valley girls volleyball defeated 9th-ranked Lincoln-Way East, as part of a doubleheader in the Wheaton Classic on Wednesday night.
Chloe Gollaher lead the way with 14 kills to go along with six digs. Olivia O’Hara contributed 20 assists and two service aces, while Hannah Krause earned 19 assists and three service aces.
Hailee Pietryk had 16 digs and four assists, while Ava Morton pitched in 8 digs and one service ace. Kahtryn Travis (7 kills), Belle Black (6 kills), Anna Axelsen (5 kills), Addi Candrian (5 kills), and Zoe Kraslen (5 kills) also contributed.
In another match that night, the Warriors defeated Lemont.

Gollaher had 10 kills, five digs and two service aces. O’Hara and Krause had 18 assists and two service aces each. Pietryk had 18 digs and three assists.
The Warriors continue the Wheaton Classic on Saturday. They have now won five of their last six matches and host Batavia tonight for a 5:30 p.m. start at the WV Gym.
